| Status : Requests for Bids have been mailed (see below). Noble Forestry will conduct an open timber viewing at 1:00 p.m. on Monday January 14th, 2008. All interested bidders should meet at the gate/entrance as indicated on the operations map. If possible RSVP with Noble Forestry prior to Saturday January 12th, 2008.
Bids are due on Friday, 1/18/2008 by 11:00 AM (EST). Bids may be sent to: Noble Forestry Bids are requested upon the MI and WI Timber Producers Association Hardwood Sawlog and Veneer Grading Rules (Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association) General Information Units 1 (10 acres m/l) and 4 (1 acre m/l) are to be clear cut. All merchantable trees (4.5+ inches DBH) are to be removed. Units 2 (28 acres m/l) and 3 (44 acres m/l) are to be select cut. All trees marked with orange paint are to be removed. All boundaries are designated with pink flagging unless otherwise obvious (see map below). Timber consists of pole timber and sawlog sized trees. Species are predominantly hardwood (red maple, ash, hard maple, red oak, basswood, etc…) with a small amount of softwoods interspersed.
